The CO2 laser marking machine uses CO2 gas as the laser medium. Its wavelength is 10.6μm, which belongs to the mid-infrared frequency band. The CO2 laser has relatively large power and relatively high electro-optical conversion efficiency. The CO2 laser uses CO2 gas as the working material to charge CO2 gas and other auxiliary gases into the discharge tube. When a high voltage is applied to the electrode, a glow discharge is generated in the discharge tube, and the gas molecules can release the laser. After the released laser energy is amplified, laser processing can be performed.
